Mixed species fishing at the saltwater pond. Gear used: medium heavy reel and rod spooled with 8lb flurocarbon, 3/4 oz slider weight, barrel swivel to match and 18in 4lb fluro carbon leader down to a size 3 hook baited with fresh clams for the sand bass and cut sardines for the ray. Though this area is not directly attached to ocean it does have inlet pipes feeding the pond while at the same time trapping many species of aquatic life including bat rays, common round rays, barred sand bass, halibut, mulet shovelnose shark, brown smooth hound sharks, thorned back skates and more. All fish were released safely and I apologize for any confusion throughout this episode on identifying species and dont forget to like rate comment and subscribe.
